Low sensitivity to inlet pressure fluctuation, a stable flame and less repeated tuning
Application need
In making the raw yarn for electronic cloth, quartz fiber can be drawn with a hydrogen-oxygen flame. A stable gas supply and ratio helps keep the flame temperature and drawing conditions stable.
What we did
Two MFCs control hydrogen and oxygen separately and supply the amounts set by the process. Provided the working pressure and control differential pressure requirements are met, flow control is almost unaffected by changes in inlet pressure.
Project result
The customer reports a stable flame temperature and no need to retune PID parameters repeatedly in use, which makes on-site commissioning easier.
